Dear colleagues and friends!

From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on Knowledge Day, this wonderful holiday, loved by more than one generation of Russians!

Tambov State University named after GR. Derzhavin - the largest university in the region - is among dynamically developing, successful institutions of higher education in Russia. This is our great victory and a huge responsibility. Today, we face a serious challenge: not only to maintain this position, but also to move forward, conquering new peaks and keeping up with the times, so that we could continue training competitive specialists who are in great demanded on the labor market. I am sure that by joint efforts of each of us we will fulfill the tasks set. Let the new academic year, the year of the 100th anniversary of Tambov State University, open new horizons for us and bring new achievements.

Especially, I want to address our first-year students. I am sure that having entered Derzhavin University, you have made the right choice! Your life is not going to be easy. It will be challenging, interesting and fascinating, full of new discoveries and victories, achievements and overcomings on the way to a future successful career. I would like to wish senior students further success in their studies, personal growth and future professional achievements.
